For almost nine months now since I became a full pledge ofw, my life has been a constant cycle, paulit-ulit na parang sirang plaka (buti pa nga ang plaka, nag-evolve, naging cassette tape dati bago naging cd na ngayon.
5:30am – Gigising, mag-uunat-unat, babangon, palit ng damit, hilamos at mumog, derecho messhall for breakfast, yosi at kape.
6.00am - shower, bihis then lakad (literal na maglalakd from our accommodation to our site office)
7:00am - sa office, work-yosi-work-kape+yosi-work
12.30pm - balik sa messhall namin for lunch then yosi bago mag toothbrush, then to my room para matulog saglit.
1:30pm - balik office, work-yosi-work-kape+(minsan yosi ulit)-work
6:00pm - uwian na, bihis pam-bahay, watch ng news kaunti.
6:45pm - diner sa messhall, isang yosi afterwards
7:30pm - watch ulit kung ano mang available sa mga channels
8:00pm - mag dadatingan mga kapitbahay/room para makinood ng mga movies na dinan-load nila from the net.
10:30pm - yosi muna bago hilamos at toothbrush, then palit damit pang tulog.
11.00pm - lights out, walang choice kung nde matulog.
Everyday. From Saturday till Thursday (the week here starts on a Saturday) ganito palagi ang buhay, and two Fridays of the month same routine pero shorter (7:30 am till 11:00am work). Ibang-iba sa buhay na iniwan ko sa pinas.
I thought I was the only person who’s so bored about KSA. Isipin mo na lang less ang distractions less ang gastos mas magiging productive ang ipinunta mo dito. Hope this helps. Its so boring nga lang talaga minsan, i bet u hate routines too, pero sabi nga nila “what can do Yani?” hehe.. I bet u also saw urself gazing out your window daydreaming of Malate or the Fort for like 3 hours or so. Minsan naisip mo rin ba na sana isang panaginip na lang to and magigising ka nasa pinas ka ba talaga? Or aning aning lang talaga ako? hehe.. Anyways, keep it together, stay composed. (repeat after me, compowwwsed.) hehe

@ O-boi, Very true, ewan ko ba baket pagkagising ko nasa disyerto na ako ng saudi arabia, ang tagal na panaginip ito, hehe. I just listen to club government anthems sa ipod ko when i suddenly missed my fab life back in manila. Try ko i-recite yang mantra mo from now on…..c o m p o w w w s e d………hehe

@ O-boi, lolz @chant. Nope im not in dahran,were doing an Aramco project somewhere in the middle of the dessert 3.5 hours from Riyadh (d ko alam kong anong exact place kaya Riyadh ang landmark na ginagamit namen, lolz)

onga sosyalan pakinggan ang messhall. Pero bakit ganun, hindi ganon kasosyal pag nakita mo na? Some of the biggest messhalls ive seen takes the word literally– BIG AREA OF MESS? Kainish db?
